Peeking inside!

The world looks so big to little children! Perhaps that’s why they love to hide in small spaces. Children need privacy from time to time to explore their imaginations without interruption.

At Mongio, teachers position themselves to observe the children (back to the wall, sit in a corner), but try to give them space to explore and interact without the adult hovering too close.

These photos show the children exploring small spaces during their summer at Mongio.

Shuffling down the tunnel in a muddy buddy.
