The Maple class has embraced children and teachers from around the world. We celebrated Christmas by exploring the themes of commonality and diversity as each child showcased special treasures from their home countries which took us on a virtual journey around the world. I felt it was quite appropriate to express this activity in song. Join with us by singing these words to the tune of the iconic song “The 12 days of Christmas”.

7 Brazilian soccer caps.
On the eighth day of Christmas “W” gave to me
8 Canucks hockey shirts.
On the ninth day of Christmas “J” gave to me
9 traditional Korean hanboks.
On the tenth day of Christmas “H” gave to me
10 Japanese pendants.
On the eleventh day of Christmas my secret Santa gave to me
11 Chinese meditation balls.
On the twelfth day of Christmas the children baked with me
12 Gingerbread cookies.
