BEEP BEEP!

Transportation is an important part of everyday life. A transportation exploration not only teaches children about what different vehicles are for, but it also teaches them other important lessons such as safety when riding in a vehicle or walking. It is important to point out to children how dangerous they can be and to be cautious when around vehicles.
Cars, Buses, Trains, Boats and Planes! These are a few of the many kinds of transportation that help us travel around the world, and learning about them is one of the first things children do as soon as they start to communicate. As children start exploring different types of transportation, they will begin to learn the sounds they make, different types/parts of transportation, how each work/move, as well as safety.
As soon as children become older, they start exploring transportation by playing with toy cars, pushing them around on the floor, on a car mat or on a track that they have built. This is a great exercise for children’s spatial awareness. They become aware of who and what is around them as they push their cars around.
